Coming up with something to tell the world is one thing and finally publishing it is another. Do I dare disturb the universe?
The Espressario (n, from espresso and impresario, a person who takes the coffee scene on the road) is a testament to a progressively developing country. It is an offshoot from a cafe project that I, the Espressario, am working on. We say goodbye(?) to Cyberia and we welcome Cyberway Cafe who just got opened in October 1997 and a new addition to our growing list of cybercafes. Cibo moved their coffee island to a more permanent location in Glorietta. Cold steel, warm coffee, a psychedelic amber wall transpose you to a surreal cafe out a of sci-fi movie.
Call me Zoe Bennett. I was born and raised in Makati, Philippines, though my family resides in Seattle. My father is American (which explains the surname) but I am closer to my mother who is obviously Filipino. I love the Philippines and the laid back atmosphere it provokes. And though none of its cities can compare to the cosmopolitan Seattle, I still opted to live here. I treasure my humble beginnings and no other country can be as accommodating.
I attended the University of the Philippines for a while before giving in to my wanderlust. Living a Bohemian life, I soon found myself spending my education funds. I took on odd jobs such as waiting on tables and tending bar just to feed a vicious life. And now finally face to face with the goals I have set for myself as a little kid, I've decided to make a living out of the maven that I was. I was once told that "rolling stones gather no moss", but hey, who wants to be a slimy old rock?
